Black Eyed Peas Boston Garden Ticket Giveaway

During the month of July BostonTweet ran a Black Eyed Peas Boston Garden ticket giveaway. This time around Steve Callan and I created a dedicated page on BostonTweet where contestants could tweet a video to BostonTweet and then encourage friends to vote for them.

The dedicated BEP/BT site included the following instructions to win the prize:

  1. Create a video of yourself convincing voters as to why you should win the tickets – feel free to sing and dance to a BEP song.
  2. Tweet the video to @BostonTweet using TwitVid
  3. You must include #bepbt in the tweet.
  4. Use the share buttons to send your friends directly to your personal page on bep.bostontweet.com

The contestant who had the most votes as of 3pm Est. on Friday July 30th won the tickets – those winning contestants were @Erin_O and @DanChiz for their  phone conversation.

In the fall BostonTweet will be using this platform once again for a much much bigger competition – a competition that I think everyone can get excited about.
