Civil Twilight
I was psyched to see Civil Twilight at the Paradise last June since I’ve been listening to their CD (and the XX) nonstop since May. It was an intense show with only about 50 other people in attendance. 50?!?
Their music is passionate, the singer has great range (though he sometimes sounds like Chris Martin), and the guitarist wails on the guitar – he definitely is influenced by The Edge. After seeing them live and listening to their CD (ad nauseam) I can’t figure out how Civil Twilight is only playing to 51 people at the Paradise?!
