Lyons Group is currently hiring a Graphic Design, Photography, and Marketing Intern.

Lyons Group is an entertainment, food and beverage development company. Currently, the company owns and operates some thirty venues in the Boston area, Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut and in Atlantic City, NJ. Each brand has been conceived, built, marketed and operated by our group. Our impressive list of properties range from top-notch eateries such as Scampo, Sonsie, Harvard Gardens & Jasper Whites Summer Shack to the most popular & world famous entertainment destinations such as Kings, Game On Fenway & Lucky’s Lounge.

Title: Graphic Design Internship

We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to work side by side with our Marketing Director to design and coding for systems and communication of our establishments. Some responsibilities can include assisting the with the production and design details of materials, including but not limited to branding, publications, brochures, announcements, advertisements, promotional materials, websites, video, social media, etc. Assembling pre-production materials, scanning images, attending to vendors and clients, updating design files, web networking & solving communication issues that apply to the experience of a customer thru a variety of media. Providing administrative office support, including file and database management, telephone and office reception, and other office-related tasks.

Internships can begin anytime as we are flexible with start dates, but we are looking for someone ASAP.

For this position you need to have your own laptop, preferably a Mac. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to be analytical, work well with people, work independently and take initiative. Proficiency with design programs, i.e.: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, Microsoft Office, and ability to cross platforms, HTML knowledge. Capacity to work under tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects.

This is an unpaid internship but can lead to paid employment full/part time for the right individual. But some benefits to compensate can be: company wide discounts, attending parties & special events and more. Must be 18yrs or older.

Title: Photography Internship

Overview:
The Lansdowne Pub is Fenway’s neighborhood pub. Opened in April 2009, it has fast become a destination for traditional pub dining, great live music and as a meeting place for the community. The Lansdowne is Boston’s premier soccer bar, showing every match on our massive HD screen. The pub serves traditional pub fare, in an environment of comfort and fun.

Duties:
- Provide photography for all major and various minor events and promotions.

- Upload photos in a timely manner to social networking and official websites.

- Assist Marketing Manager with photography needs for marketing collateral.

- Provide promotional images for Public Relations purposes.

Requirements:
Students need to be hard working and very dependable as displayed through past work experiences. They need to be detailed-oriented with a general understanding of events. Students must provide their own camera and photography materials. Student must be able to work off a shot sheet and work independently at weekly events. Knowledge of the food and beverage industry are preferred.

Conditions:
This position is an excellent resume builder with hands-on experience. We will be glad to work with your university to coordinate college credit. Ideally the student would work all major and various minor promotions and events.

Title: Marketing Intern

Duties:

- Help implement Marketing Campaigns, Sales Efforts, and Event Planning.
- Assist the Marketing Manager with daily activities and projects.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new social media and networking technologies.
- Assist with the planning and execution of all grass roots marketing efforts and their associated marketing collaterals.
- Assist with customer service on event days.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Students need to be hard working and very dependable as displayed through past work experiences. They need to be detailed-oriented with a general understanding of marketing and advertising. Must be a self starter and have the ability to work independently. Basic computer skills are a must. Students must provide their own laptop. Knowledge of the food and beverage industry is preferred.

Conditions:
This position is an excellent resume builder with hands-on experience. We will be glad to work with your university to coordinate college credit. Ideally, we would like the student to work an average of 20 hours a week.

iPhone Developer Needed

In the next couple of months I will be launching a new startup called Restaurant Bingo. Restaurant Bingo is a mobile bingo gaming app in which friends compete head-to-head against each other for free food at their favorite restaurants.
