Sheila Divine at the Lansdowne Pub
The newly reunited Sheila Divine played to a packed house last night (September 30th) at the Lansdowne Pub. The Sheila Divine sounded as tight as ever and to no surprise “Hum” (video above) was a crowd favorite.
Gentlemen Hall Rock the Rumble (at the River)
I finally caught up with Gentlemen Hall today at Community Rowing and they rocked the Rumble! For a guy that doesn’t dance they almost made me want to dance and I’m looking forward to catching them again at a late night venue in Boston.
All Our Love
[Don't know the song name but I like it!!]
Music on Newbury
Within two blocks of Newbury Street you’ll find a jazz band outside JP Licks, a massive line for a Jenny & Johnny performance at Newbury Comics, and an acoustic session. <3 Boston!
Brett Dennen at Life is Good Festival
One of my singer-songwriters is Brett Dennen and on Sunday I had the pleasure of meeting the man behind the voice – not to mention the kick-ass private show I witnessed too!
The National
I’m embarrassed to say that I wasn’t aware of The National until WFNX started playing Bloodbuzz Ohio this summer. However, I’m happy to report that I quickly schooled myself in everything “The National” and these guys from Brooklyn are awesome. Matt Berninger’s voice coupled with some tight drumming and melodic guitar playing make every song on both the Boxer (2007) and High Violet (2010) absolutely superb. I unfortunately missed the The National when they played the House of Blues in June, but I definitely won’t miss them when they return.
